Harbor View of the Big Apple, New York 1600x1200

The Big Apple is a nickname or moniker for New York City. It was first popularized in the 1920s by John J. Fitz Gerald, a sports writer for the New York Morning Telegraph. Its popularity since the 1970s is due to a promotional campaign by the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau, known now as NYC & Company.

Bob,Thanks for all of your hard work on these pirtuce and traveling to these places. The Salem L.Cemetery near Princton is also known as the Lost Grove Cemetery. I have been there several times over the past 30+ years & only took pirtuces of some of my kin. Of course at that time only had a film camera.Appears many of the stones have just been piled together as over the years they break or are destoryed. I have been look for a Daniel Price buried in that cemetery but never found the marker. Do you know if anyone has any records for this cemetery?Thank You
